Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, May 22, 2021, Mrs. Sun Hui Kernodle, 71, loving wife of 37 years to Junie Floyd Kernodle.

Mrs. Kernodle was a native of South Korea. She was owner and operator of Rose Petal Florist for 39 years. She enjoyed traveling to the Korean market in Atlanta and going to Beaufort, SC. She worked very hard for everything and was a goal minded Lady. She loved life to the fullest and she loved to do anything that involved her husband who she loved dearly.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include her daughter: Eliza Yilmaz of Manheim, Germany; son: Andrew Bruce Kernodle of Scottsdale, Arizona; 3 grandchildren: Aaliyah Yilmaz., Kiara Yilmaz, and Cheyenne Yilmaz; and 5 sisters: Heesuk Kim, Heesun Kim, Heeok Kim, Heekyung Kim and Eunsuk Kim.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
