Teresa Dawn Durshimer

On February 25th Teresa (Teri to friends, Ressie to family) Durshimer departed her earthly home for her heavenly home. She is survived by her parents Frank W. and Betty Durshimer, her sister Sherry Kierspe(David), her brother Mark Durshimer (Terri), her nephew Cavan Durshimer, her godchildren Mattie and Ben Barton and her cats Buck and Diva. She has many aunts, uncles and cousins. She loved her family tremendously and her family loved her more than words can say.
Ressie had a heart big as all outdoors and helped others even in her last days. Her wealth of friends were just as good to her as she was to others. She loved animals and she volunteered with the Humane Society.
Ressie retired as a supervisor at Child Support Recovery for the state of Georgia. Prior to state service she taught kindergarten for three years. After retirement she worked for her friend Daniel W. Hamilton, P.C..

Ressie requested that there be no memorial service. A Celebration of Life will be held later.
