Augusta, GA - Thomas Gordon Bohler, age 92, loving husband of Salwa Boulus Bohler, peacefully passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020.
Mr. Bohler was a loving husband and beloved Papa to 11 grandchildren. Gordon was born the son of Eula Mae Beggs and Charles Tice Bohler on September 26, 1928 in Lincolnton, Georgia. He was one of nine children. He was preceded in death by his first wife Clorinda Scarpa Smith and siblings Lilian Irene Bohler Long, Robert George Bohler, James Blanchard Bohler, Rufus Estes Bohler, Charles Tice Bohler Jr., William Eugene Bohler, Luther Malcom Bohler, and Dorothy Arlene Bohler.
Gordon was a graduate of Lincolnton High School. Upon completion he joined the Army to serve his country in Germany. When he returned from Germany, he began a career as a machinist and later became an instructor to apprentices in that field. In his later career as a real estate investor, Gordon developed commercial and residential properties in the Augusta Area. He was an active member and deacon of The Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of many civic organizations including Toastmasters of Augusta.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Salwa Boulus Bohler, and family; Cazenove and Paul Boulus, Jr., Michele and Gregory Parr, Clare and Gregory Boulus; 11 grandchildren; Loren Clifford, Katherine Clifford, Gina Boulus, Pauly Boulus III , Gregory Boulus Jr., Miranda Boulus, Vaughan Boulus, Tanham Boulus, Pierce Boulus, Fisher Boulus and Leila Boulus. Gordon had many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the Physicians and staff of the Georgia War Veterans Nursing home for all of their care and compassion.

A graveside service will be held at Westover Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The pallbearers will be his grandsons.
