Walter E. “Buddy” Peacock Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, June 10, 2022, Walter E. “Buddy” Peacock, 96, loving husband of the late Dot Peacock. Buddy was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. He was a graduate of Academy of Richmond County. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and the AMBUCS. He served stateside in the Navy for two years. He was a longtime truck sales associate with Harison Gulley and Pontiac Master. Buddy served as a volunteer at University Hospital and the soup kitchen at Christ Church for many years. Family members include his children: Jacquelyn Peacock Parken (Robert) and Gary E. Peacock (Nicki); grandchildren: Stephen D. Parken (Darci), Lee N. Peacock (Amanda), and Charlotte Peacock Seepe (Michael); great-grandchildren: Wyntir Parken, Deckard Parken, Kenneth Peacock and Finn Seepe; brothers: Jack Rabun and John Rabun. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Lynn Prather officiating.
