William "Bill" Mallett

William “Bill” Mallett, 51, of North Augusta, SC passed away August 24, 2021 at AUMC. Bill was born in Dover-Foxcroft Maine on October 8, 1969 to Karl and Donna (Strout) Mallett.

Bill worked for Advance Auto Parts for 26 years in several different capacities, most recently as a District Manager. His work sent him up and down the east coast and all over the southeast. Bill made many friends through the years at AAP. He will be remembered by “The Hammerheads” and other coworkers as a business savvy, hard-working, sarcastic, smart ass that would do anything for anyone. When he wasn’t working, Bill enjoyed fishing, kayaking, cooking (especially barbecue), reading (especially about history), travelling, and spending time with his family and dogs. A true “Mainer”, he was a life-long fan of the New England Patriots. By the time the Brady-Belichek era rolled around, he’d mastered the ability to trash talk any of the opposition. The only thing Bill loved more than the Pats was his family.

He is survived by wife Emilie (Pond), North Augusta, daughters Sophia, North Augusta and Hannah Pond, Columbia, SC, sister Nicole (Mallett) Coffin and her husband Greg of Stockton Springs, ME, nephew Matt of Verona Island, ME, niece Karigen of Gray, ME, grandmother Frances Strout of Dover-Foxcroft, ME, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins, Bill was preceded in death by his parents Karl and Donna and his beloved bulldog, Tucker.
