Anne Mundy Calhoun

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, June 15, 2025, Anne Mundy Calhoun, 91, loving wife of the late Thad B. Calhoun, Jr.

Anne was born in Augusta, GA to the late Clarence and Irene Mundy. She loved traveling and camping out West as well as fishing, riding motorcycles, and playing bingo. Baking pound cakes was one of her favorite hobbies along with raising bulldogs. Anne loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Family members include her daughters: Deborah Howard and Connie Griswold (Doug); son: Thad B. Calhoun III; and her beloved pup Phoebe.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with the Rev. Randall Whitaker and Rev. Sonny Serigney officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Gary Cooper, Jr., Spencer Cooper, Gary Cooper III (Bubba), Hunter Bradford, Landon Bradford, Warren Wren, and Nick Herrington.
