Beatrice Bennett Blanchard

Augusta, GA – Bebe Blanchard passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2025. She was born in Atlanta, GA on September 25, 1933, to Edwina Cowan and Ansel D. Bennett. Her family moved to Greenwood, SC where she grew up. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Greenwood Community College of Business. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Wood Valley Garden Club, and Augusta Country Club.

She married Jack A. Rodgers of Augusta where she raised her family. She sold real estate for many years. Mr. Rodgers passed away in 1984, and she married Thomas M. Blanchard, Sr., in 1990. Mr. Blanchard predeceased her.

She is survived by her children: Leslie Sherwood (Bozeman), Craig Bennett Rodgers, Anne Czura (Johnny), James Blanchard (Jane), and daughter-in-law Lynda Blanchard.

She was preceded in death by her children, Julia Blanchard Batchelor and Thomas M. Blanchard, Jr.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. Dr. Bunny Simon Williams officiating.
