Bolling Hall “Bo” Handy II

Bo Handy of Augusta, GA entered into rest on Tuesday, February 11, 2026. Born in 1962, he passed away in his home at the age of 63.

Bo attended Tutt Middle School and Westside High School in Augusta, GA. He graduated from Augusta College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, and proceeded to make a name for himself in the restaurant industry in the CSRA and beyond through his affiliation with Tbonz. Bo operated the Handy Hospitality Group as a private catering business for many years, and owned and operated Big Daddy’s Bar & Grill from 2013–2020.

Family members include his mother, Mary Helen Handy, and his three siblings: Dr. John R. Handy, Ann Handy, and Susan Handy. He is survived by his daughter, Madison Handy, and his two granddaughters, Avalee and Sylvia. Bo is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John R. Handy, and his brother-in-law, Terry Wick.

Bo will be remembered as a loving and caring father, a tough but always fair boss and leader, and a self-made businessman. His close friends and family will always remember his spirit of never-ending optimism, his jovial nature, and his great ability to listen without judgment.

As per Bo’s wishes, the family will hold a private service in honor of his life. His family asks that anyone wanting to celebrate Bo’s legacy to please consider donating to or volunteering with Golden Harvest Food Bank, as the charity was close to Bo’s heart, or to visit Southbound Smokehouse for a meal, as Bo was a manager there until he passed.
