Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, May 3, 2026, Brenda Kay Livingston, 62, wife of Jay B. Livingston.

Brenda, beloved wife of Jay B. Livingston, cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She found great joy in making lasting memories with them—whether at the beach, in the mountains, or camping by the lake. She adored her three grandchildren and delighted in doting on them. It brought her immense happiness to teach them, especially sharing her deep love of reading with each of them. Brenda devoted many years to helping shape young lives at Clearwater Elementary School, where she touched the hearts of hundreds of children. She truly loved her work and her school family, always volunteering her time to assist with plays and to decorate for holidays and special events. Holidays held a special place in her heart, and she celebrated each one with enthusiasm and joy. Giving was Brenda’s love language, and she gave generously and wholeheartedly. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Her presence made a lasting impact on all who knew her, and she will be deeply and forever missed.

In addition to her husband, Jay, family members include her sons: John Matthew Livingston and Nicholas Jay Livingston; her daughter: Brooke Livingston Baker (Drew); and her grandchildren: Nash Baker, Hynlee Baker and Cameron Livingston.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet and Son Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM.
