Carl Knoll

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, May 17, 2026, Mr. Carl J. Knoll, 87, loving husband of Patricia H. Knoll.

Carl was born in Sterling, IL to the late Carl and Margaret Knoll. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy, saying it was the adventure of his life. Carl spent most of his life living in Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian, MS, and St. Teresa of Avila in Grovetown, and retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved music and being left-handed and always had a story to share.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sister, Karen Knoll; sons: Carl Knoll (Sharon) of Evans, GA and James Knoll (Kim) of Mt. Carmel, IL; twin granddaughters Megan (Cameron) and Sarah (Parker); and four great grandchildren: Hunter, Josie, Emily, and Rowan.

The graveside service will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, at 2:30 P.M. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa of Avila and Most Holy Trinity in Pass Christian, MS.
