Carla Nale Lovett

Nashville, TN – Entered into rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Carla Nale Lovett, 59, beloved wife of Marcus Lovett.

Carla was born in Southbridge, MA in 1966; to her parents Carl and Lola Nale, who both preceded her in death. She was a resident of Harlem and Augusta, Georgia since the early 80s. Carla was a loving, caring and giving Mom, Wife, Sister and Mimi. She also was a loyal and compassionate nurse for more than 33 years. She served as an LPN, RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) for a majority of her career.

In addition to her husband, Carla is survived by her daughter: Brittany Trapp; (Jay) son: Dr. Dakota Lovett (Lindsey); grandchildren: Brice, Brinslee and John Bentley; brother: Shaun Nale (Jessica) and sister: Jodi Hiller (Thomas) and several very special nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Harlem Baptist Church with Rev. Carson Britt officiating. Interment will follow in South Harlem Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Brice Trapp, Christopher Nale, Kayden Nale, Brody Nale, Ryan Berry, Dylan Hiller, Landon Berry, and Damian Frails. Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Lovett and Chip Lovett.
