Charles Augustus Pippin, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Charles “Charlie” Augustus Pippin, Jr., 66.

Charlie retired from the Medical College of Georgia after thirty years as a database administrator in the accounting department. He is a 1978 graduate of Evans High School and began working at the Medical College of Georgia in 1979. An avid pop music fan, Charlie was a walking encyclopedia of rock and pop music – what charted and what went gold.

Family members include his brother, Robert Curtis Pippin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Augustus and Mary Luckey Pippin, Sr.

A private service will be held at a later date.
