Charles "Ricky" Scroggs

Augusta, GA – Charles “Ricky” Scroggs, 68, entered into rest Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Ricky was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a graduate of Butler High School and retired from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions.
He was a loving uncle and friend. He enjoyed doting on his cats Tabitha and Callie. He had a strong belief in Christ and gave generously to many charities supporting people and animals in need. He was met in Heaven by his mother, father and all three brothers - reunited in heaven!

Family members include his nieces and nephews: Andrea Jayaraman (Siva), Deborah Woodward (Benjamin), Steven Scroggs, and Nita Scroggs; sister-in-laws: Delores Scroggs and Linda Scroggs.

The memorial service will be Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
