Christine (Teena) Jordan Wyatt, of Evans, Georgia, passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on March 17, 1952, in Montgomery, Alabama.
Christine was the beloved wife of Nick Wyatt, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by compassion, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
She graduated from Glenn Hills High School and went on to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing from Augusta College in 1979. Christine dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a critical care nurse, specializing in cardiac care, where she touched countless lives with her skill and kindness.
Christine found joy in life’s simple pleasures—time spent at the beach, playing cards with loved ones, and cheering on University of Georgia football. She was the epitome of sacrificial love, always putting others before herself. Her greatest joy was gathering family and friends around the table, living by her heartfelt motto: “There’s always room for one more.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Christine Jordan; her sister, Mary Anne Davis; and her brother, Ben Jordan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nick Wyatt; her four children, Lea Anne Salway (Stephen), Joe Tedder (Emily), Tracey Tedder, and Karen Wilmoth (Josh); her cherished grandchildren, Jordan Myers (Corey), Adam Salway (Kennedy), Hannah Tedder (John), and Sydney Salway (David); her brother, John Jordan and Sister in law, Kristal Wyatt.
Christine’s legacy of love, kindness, and hospitality will live on in all who knew her.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. - 2 Timothy 4:7-8
