Appling, GA – Chris Brannen, 35, died at the family home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Chris, or "Toph" to his family, was born and grew up in Augusta and, after earning his pharmacy doctorate from UGA in Athens, lived in Savannah and Atlanta. He enjoyed making art and reading philosophy and history, and he was a lifelong dog lover whose Millie was a beloved part of the family pack. Chris was an unwaveringly kind and generous person who cared deeply about making the world a better place.
