Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 30, 2017, Col. Michael A. Boos, U.S. Army (Ret.), 88, survived by his loving wife Joan K. Boos.
Like his father before him, he was a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Col. Boos was a veteran of the Korean War and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a longtime official at the Masters Golf Tournament and was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.
Surviving family members include daughters: Julie Boos and Aileen Boos; son: Michael Boos. He is preceded in death by his son: David Boos.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Family will receive friends following the service.
