Constance "Connie" Clifford

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, Mrs. Constance “Connie” Elaine Clifford, 70, loving wife of Mr. James Richard “Rick” Clifford.

Family members in addition to her husband Rick, include her children: Michael Dohn, Derrick Natoli (Amy) and Melissa Amos (Mike); grandchildren: Brittany, Brylee and Samantha; great grandchildren: Tyler, Drake, and Reagan; brother: Charles Clifford (Vivian) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Dr. James F. Clifford and Jewel Hardin Clifford.

Connie was born in Augusta, Georgia and was a graduate of The Academy of Richmond County. She was a licensed Optician for over 30 years, retiring from Augusta Eye MD Optical. Connie was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Faith Believers Sunday School class. An accomplished equestrian, Connie took any chance to be at the barn to ride Jammer or spend time with her special equestrian friends Rosemary, Nancy and Frances and numerous others she made throughout her 60 years of riding horses.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 1:00 until 3:00P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son. Services will be private with Pastor Bill Hilley officiating.
