Danny Ray Renew
the age of 76.
Danny attended the Academy of Richmond County. He spent decades working
working with his hands as a member of the Carpenters Local Union 283 and as a
Master Mason. He was a loyal University of Georgia football fan, an avid golfer,
fisherman, and hunter, a true outdoorsman. Danny was a loving and devoted
father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He adored his grandchildren, who called
him Papa.
Family members include his daughter: Courtney Corbin (Matt); son: Shane
Renew; grandchildren: Lainey, Danica, Cameron, and Austin; brother: Steve
Renew (Connie); sisters: Babette Renew and Brenda Powell (Randy); and many
other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents: Tommie
Jr and Betty Renew; and his brother: Andy Renew.
