David Richard Castello, beloved father, brother, and ‘Pa,’ passed away February 16, 2026, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him David was the proud father of Hannah Castello, Amber Ashe, and Johnny Los. He was a brother to Laura Castello, William Castello, Jr., and reunited in heaven with Allen Castello. Son to Maureen Whelton and William Castello, Sr..

He was a loving Pa to Christopher Ashe and Ellison Ashe, who brought him so much joy. David loved spending time with his grandchildren and treasured every moment with them. You could often find him out on the golf course with his buddies, riding his motorcycle, or catching a sports game at the local Pizza Joint. He enjoyed the simple things in life, good company, shared laughs, and making memories with the people he loved.

David was a simple man who remained true to himself. He will be remembered for his quiet kindness, his love for his family, and the steady presence he was to those close to him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, siblings, and all who knew him.
