Dee Royer-Shaw

Augusta, GA – Dee Royer-Shaw, originally from Hutchinson, KS, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the age of 83.

Dee played the organ for 30 years at the First Assembly of God in Hutchinson, KS, and she loved playing both the piano and organ. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren – and even shared her love as a foster mother to many infants and children. She was the school secretary at USD308 in Hutchinson, KS.

Family members include her children: Angie Norris (Greg), Kevin Royer (Glennita), and Eddie Royer (Trina); grandchildren: Brandon Royer, Stanton Royer, Evan Norris, Justin Norris, Mallory Kocher, Joseph Royer, and Beth Royer; eight great-grandchildren; and sister: Beverly Martin.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The Sanctuary of Augusta with Pastor Ricky Coule officiating. Pallbearers will be Stanton Royer, Justin Norris, Sam Kocher, Greg Norris, Cameron Coule, and Matthew Coule.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at The Sanctuary of Augusta.
