Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, December 5, 2009 at her residence, Mrs. Mason,75, was the wife of the late Thomas Albert Mason, Sr.
Mrs. Mason was a native of Murphy, NC. and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Murphy, and lived in Augusta for the past 41 years. Mrs. Mason a retired Richmond County School Crossing Guard; raised Champion Pugs and was a Member of the American Kennel Society.
Family members include her daughter: Liz Mason of Augusta; sons: Thomas A. Mason, Jr. and wife Sally of Morehead City, North Carolina; and Tony Mason of Augusta. grandchildren: Thomas A. Mason, III; and Joshua Mason; four sisters: Stella Coffee of Murphy, NC; Frances Cooper of Baltimore, MD; Louise Shields of Mineral Springs, GA; and Irene Folmer of Hartwell, GA.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 9th at 12:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Thomas A Mason, Jr. officiating.
