Dolly Dromsky

Mrs. Dolly A. Dromsky passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. She was 90 years old.

Born in Travelers Rest, SC to the late Houston Richard and Ruth Ann Young Adams, Mrs. Dromsky was a proud graduate of the Hamlet Hospital and Training School of Nursing. A devoted wife and mother, she balanced the responsibilities of raising four children with the unique challenges of being a military spouse. Throughout 30 years as a Veterans Administration nurse her devotion to family and patients never wavered. She served wherever her husband was stationed during his distinguished Air Force career. After retirement she helped establish the Parish Nurse Program at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, which provided treatment, care and comfort to many families.

Mrs. Dromsky was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, the late Lt. Col. B. Joseph Dromsky, Jr. (USAF Ret.). She is survived by her four children, Laurie Ninke (and husband John) of Jefferson City, MO; Lynette Rayle (and husband Joseph) of Cortland, NY; Joseph Dromsky (and wife Jill) of Martinez, GA; and David Dromsky (and wife Ann) of Houston, TX. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who added love and joy to her life.

The family is deeply grateful to her caregiver, Josephine Williams, and the compassionate staff at Brandon Wilde Community for their dedication and care.

A private graveside service will be held at Westover Memorial Park.
