Donna Jean Bennett

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, September 20, 2025, Donna Jean Bennett, 82, loving wife of the late Henry Bennett.

Donna retired from International Paper. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Family members include her son: Eric Bennett, Sr. (Jacquelyn); stepson: Richard Bennett; stepdaughter: Stacey Kenner-House; ten grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren; brother: Roscoe Harrison, Jr.; close family friends: Allean Moseby, Clarence White, Willett Jones; and special friend: Robert Darden.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Bennett; daughter: Sheila Johnson; and granddaughter: Laura Bennett Darden.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors with Chaplain Paul Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
