Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, May 17, 2026, Mr. Donnie “Don” W. Beasley, 79, loving husband of Virginia Beasley.
Born to the late Roy and Venera Beasley, Don was a lifelong resident of Augusta. He served in the United States Army and was a retired life member from Local Union 150. He was also the owner and operator of A & A Construction. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his grandchildren: Zachary W. Beasley and Timothy J. Beasley; great granddaughter: Arabella Dawn Beasley; sisters: Edna Murray and Glenda Soares (Artie); and brother: Joe “Bill” Beasley (Nell); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Timothy Don Beasley; sisters: Betty LaFontaine and Brenda West; and brother: Roy S. Beasley, Jr.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
