Doris Blalock

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, March 17, 2024, Mrs. Doris Jacobs Blalock, 72, beloved wife of the late Dr. H. Sherman Blalock. 

Doris grew up in Milledgeville and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. 

Family includes Elizabeth Blalock Schappell, John S. Blalock, and Joseph M. Blalock, and four grandchildren. 

The family wishes to thank The Claiborne at West Lake and Pruitt Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. 

A private graveside service will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 at Westover Memorial Park. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 3321 Wheeler Rd., Augusta, GA 30909.
