Doyle Eugene Cozart

Doyle Eugene Cozart, 91, of Grovetown, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. He was a beloved father, granddaddy, and brother.

He graduated from North Augusta High School and the University of Georgia. He started his career at an early age with Belk Department Stores and completed it as a financial planner with John Hancock. He was a longtime supporter of University of Georgia athletics and an avid UGA football fan.

Doyle is survived by his daughter Kathryn Cozart Grant (Robert) of Augusta, Georgia; his daughter Karen Cozart Brown (Gregg) of Ellicott City, Maryland; his daughter, Karla Cozart Cameron (David) of Marriottsville, Maryland; his granddaughters, Kathryn Edwina Grant, Katherine Grace Cameron, and Laura Elizabeth Cameron; and his brother Kenneth Earl Cozart (Linda). Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lester Cozart and his sister, Rita Cozart Bumpas.

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. Talmadge A. Bowden officiating.
