Dr. Brian S. Slutzky

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, March 22, 2024, Dr. Brian Stephen Slutzky, 64, loving husband of Regina L. Slutzky. 

Dr. Slutzky was a neuro-psychologist for over 30 years practicing in South Florida, and for the last 10 years of his career at the Augusta Medical Prison. Brian had many passions, including a love for books, learning, and was a weather aficionado. He loved film, music, and travel, and enjoyed eating out or sharing a beautiful meal at home with family and friends. He loved humor, like the Mafalda series and Inspector Clouseau, and loved making people laugh and smile. 

He was generous and genuine. Brian was pure love who always shared it with the ones he loved. He had an ability to make people feel special, and they always spoke of what an intelligent, kind, generous, beautiful soul he was. He will be missed beyond words. 

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his siblings: Scott Philip Slutzky, Ariane Nicole Slutzky, and Pamela Esterson-Martinez and her husband Daniel; stepdaughter: Arianna Holterman and her husband CJ; grandson: Caleb Holterman;; brother-in-law: Dennis Levitz and his wife Carol; and extended family in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Graciela Slutzky.  

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. 

The funeral service will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
