Edna "Faye" Williams

Edna “Faye” Williams, 91, beloved wife of the late Plemon Dallas Williams, entered into rest on April 4, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at Thomas Poteet and Son on Thursday, April 9, 2026. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Williams was born in Sevierville, TN to the late Walter and Lizzie Ogle. She was a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mrs. Williams was a charter member of Open Door Baptist Church where she served in the nursery and was a member of the JOY Class. She was a loving mother, grandmother and caregiver to many throughout her years. Mrs. Williams loved being in her yard with her flowers and also birdwatching. She also loved reading, working puzzles and especially playing Scrabble.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Wanda Williams Durrence (Greg); her grandchildren, Kimberly Baer (Michael), Allison Bragg (Brice), April Stone (Nathan), Rachel Edenfield (Jonathan) and Christoper Williams (Jessica); her daughter-in-law, Nancy Mock Williams; her great-grandchildren, Karter Baer, Easton Baer, Avery Baer, Ava Bragg, Abigail Bragg, Bryson Bragg, Allie Faye Bragg, Brooks Bragg, Olivia Stone, Isla Stone and Anna Stone.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Dallas Williams; and by her siblings, Roy Ogle, Claude Ogle, Homer Ogle, Effie Ogle, Wanda Ogle and Ada Ogle.
