Elsie Ivey

Entered into rest on Thursday, November 28, 2024, Mrs. Elsie Johnson Ivey, 95, loving wife of the late Mr. Robert V. Ivey, Jr.

Family members include her children: Mike Ivey and Beryl Tanner; grandchildren: Jesse Ivey, Nicholas Ivey, Lainey Kennedy, Cade Welsch and Ivey Welsch and eleven great grandchildren.

She was a librarian at Augusta Richmond County Library Bookmobile for thirty years, was a wonderful seamstress and maker of beautiful crocheted crafts. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at Thomas Poteet & Son. A graveside service follow in Westover Memorial Park at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mann Memorial Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
