Ethan James Franklin

Augusta, GA – Ethan James Franklin, age 18, met our Savior face to face on January 27, 2023. He is remembered with love by his parents: Pat and Kristin Franklin; sisters: Lauren Oetjen (Tyler) and Kaitlyn Montano (Matt); brothers: Austin Franklin (Caitlyn) and Nathan Franklin and twin brother: Garrison Franklin; nieces and nephews: Carter, Lilly, Lyanna, Riley, Isaiah, and Colton; maternal grandparents: Al and Jean Nutt; paternal grandparents: the late Chester and Mildred Franklin; aunts and uncles: Kim Tucker (Matt), Derek Franklin (Ruann), Chet Franklin (Meloney); and many other loving family members and friends.

At a young age Ethan accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and is now in heaven. He was a fun, light-up-the-room teenager with a dry sense of humor that made us all laugh. He liked soccer until he fell in love with hunting. He amazed others with a work ethic that would rival any adult. Ethan would have graduated from Evans High School this May. We will miss all the laughs, accomplishments and joys that were so much a part of Ethan’s beautiful life. How blessed we were to have him for 18 years!

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Lakemont Presbyterian Church, 411 Pleasant Home Road, Augusta, GA 30907 with Pastor Bryan Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
