George "Beau" Barnes, III

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, August 25, 2025, George “Beau” Barnes, III, 74, husband of Robbie Barnes.

Beau was a loving husband, father, brother, friend, and “Pop.” He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Beau loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing, preferably at the river. He loved his lifelong friends of over 50 years: Larry, Steve, George and Mike.

Family members include his wife: Robbie Barnes; his daughters: Aimee “Poota” Kilgore (Brad), Brandi Pardue (Travis), and Cayce Cheeks; his grandchildren: Landen Malcom, Ansleigh Kilgore, Carsen Reese, Loren Pardue, Caelyn Wiggins, Lexie Wiggins, and Reid Wiggins; his great-grandchild: Eden "Pee Willy" Bozeman; his brother: James Barnes (Laura) of Dothan, AL; his brother-in-law Al Duval (Karen); his sister-in-law Diana Simone; and nephew: Matt Barnes (Brianne). He was preceded in death by his parents: Kathleen and George B. Barnes, Jr.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Oasis Church at Hephzibah with Pastor Wesley Weatherford, officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Oasis Church at Hephzibah, 2228 GA-88, Hephzibah, GA 30815.
