Cherry/Gerri was a native of Stapleton, GA and a longtime resident of Augusta/Evans. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Georgia Regional Hospital.
Family members include her son: C. Murray Williams (Carmen); grandson: Andy Williams (Brianna); great grandson: Brandon Clayton-Cash Williams and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Roger Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
