Gloria C. Laird

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Mrs. Gloria Christine Laird, loving wife of the late Phillip Harrison Laird Sr.

Gloria was born in Eastman. She and Phillip, along with their children, lived in many places during her life and ended up calling Augusta their home for many years. Gloria became a member of St Mary on the Hill Catholic Church and loved working out at Health Central where she met many wonderful people.

Family members include her children: Phyllis Williamson (Rick), Phillip H. Laird, Jr. (Kellie), Lisa Kendrick (Jimmy), J. Michael Laird (Ronnie). Grandchildren: Trey Kendrick (Holly), Kristi Starke (Bo), Billy Hultman (Heather), Brandy Stephens (Les), Ricky Williamson (Nikita), Lauren Laird, Brenna Laird, James Laird (Harley); Great Grandchildren: Sophia Stephens, Jacob Vance Busbia, Graham Busbia

The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Fr Andrew Emenike officiating. Pallbearers will be James Michael Laird, Rick Williamson, Griffin Scott, Laird Turpin, Spencer Callaghan and Larry Bone. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
