Augusta, Ga - Helen Lydia Kelsey Waldron, 88, went to be with the Lord February 11, 2026. She was a retired Deputy Clerk of the Clerk of Superior Court of Richmond County, Georgia. She was a military wife for 20 plus years and traveled the world with many adventures building memories with her family. She was well known by many for her rum cakes. She was an avid bowler. She worked with Catholic Services for over 20 years helping out whenever and wherever she could.
She was predeceased by her parents Fredericka E Heins Kelsey and George Dewey Kelsey and by her loving devoted husband James Edwin Waldron, Sr. She was a loving mother of 4 children, Diane Elaine Waldron McGee (Husband Phil), Brenda Lee Waldron Ferrell (Husband Doug), James Edwin Waldron, Jr. (Wife Robin), and Karen Lynn Waldron Adams (Husband Keith). She loved her family more than life and has had our Lord Jesus as the center of this beautiful life.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Robert Sanders II (Wife Heather), Jason Sanders (Wife Carissa), Jeremy McGee (Wife Malia), Kayla McGee Dailey (Husband Austin), Nannette Ferrell Melamed (Husband Steven), Stephanie Ferrell, James Edwin Waldron III (Wife Meghan), Brian Keith Adams (Wife Charlee), Kelsey Adams Coletta (Husband Michael) and 11 great-grandchildren William, Griffin, Izzy, Reid, Josie, Henry, Sam, Lewis, Hayden, Carter and Emma Claire.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Road, Augusta, GA 30907. A private family graveside service will be held at Westover Memorial Park. Please sign the guestbook at www.thomaspoteet.com
