Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 14, 2009, at University Hospital, Mr. Howard T. Anderson, 76, husband of Joyce Thrift Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a native and life long resident of Augusta. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from Colonel Bakery after 30 years. Mr. Anderson was a Methodist.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters: Cheryl Cook and husband Don of Martinez, Kim McKenney and husband Keith of Atlanta, Kelly Hutchins and husband Robert of Martinez; son: David Anderson and wife Sharon of Canton, GA; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandsons; and sister: Jimmie Lee Hydrick of Augusta. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his brother: Charles Evans Anderson.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Jim McCollough officiating. The family will receive friends 2:00. until 3:00 P.M.
