Jack Thomas

Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, April 11, 2024, Mr. Henry Jackson “Jack” Thomas, 72, husband of Mrs. Terri Elrod Thomas.

Jack was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was self-employed as a carpenter. Jack was an avid golfer and enjoyed time spent with all of his friends at Rocky Branch golf course in Lincolnton. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: Jack Thomas, Jr. (Cindy) and Bradley Reid Thomas, daughter: Rachel Lee Thomas; sisters: Lorene Reece (Bob) and Ellen Woodburn; brother: Lowell Thomas (Denise) and other loving family members and his faithful canine companion, Luke.  He was preceded in death by his parents P.E. and Mary Thomas and brother Buddy Thomas.

The funeral service will be held Monday, April 15, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Hilley officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Thomas, Dewey Jones, Jonathan, Judson, Michael Duffie, Mark Mobley and Eric Jablonski. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Youngblood, David Brown, Travis Wagher and David Inglett.

The family would like to thank Jack’s hospice team at Enhabit Hospice, for the loving care they gave, especially Dallas Golden Farr and Lena Gartrell.
