James Humphreys

James Roy Humphreys went to his eternal rest on December 21, 2023.

He is survived by his three children, James Humphreys Jr of Dallas, Texas, Patricia Diddle of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Kevin Humphreys of Decatur, Arkansas. He also had two grandchildren, Shealene Dennis and Dawneille Diddle, two great grandchildren, Braxton and Nevaeh, and three step-daughters Cindy Westervelt, Kim James and Stephanie Jones. He also leaves his beloved dogs Socks and Blue.

Mr. Humphreys was a US Veteran, having served in the Armed Forces.

Services are scheduled for January 13, 2024 at McBean Baptist Church in Waynesboro, GA. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. with services to follow.

The family wishes to acknowledge the Cadle family for their love and care of Mr. Humphreys as well as everyone with ProMedica Hospice, especially Chaplain Jim and his nurses Michael and David.
