Jeanette "Jan" Lucille Egeler

Jeanette L. Egeler, 89, passed peacefully on June 5, 2026, after a life beautifully and fully lived. Born in Muskegon, Michigan in November 1937, she carried with her a warmth that touched every single person fortunate enough to cross her path.

She was, above all else, a woman of unconditional love. In a world that so often rushes to judge, she never did. Her heart was a safe harbor — open, steady, and completely without condition. Whether you were struggling or soaring, you always knew where you stood with her: deeply loved.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was the proud and devoted mother of three and the adoring grandmother of four, who she loved with every fiber of her being. To her grandchildren, she was that rare and irreplaceable kind of grandmother — the one whose lap always had room, whose eyes always lit up the moment you walked through the door.

Her faith in God was the quiet foundation beneath everything she did. She prayed without ceasing — for her children, her grandchildren, and anyone who crossed her path and needed lifting up. Faith like hers left a mark on everyone around her.

After nine years of missing the love of her life, Jeanette is now reunited with Alvin A. Egeler, whole and at peace at last.

She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, in Leland, Michigan on July 18, 2026 — together again.

She leaves behind three children, four grandchildren, and a legacy of grace, generosity, and love without limits.
