Jeffrey Blair Anna

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Blair Anna, a loving son, brother and friend, who entered into rest on May 25, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on February 17, 1968, in Buffalo, New York. Jeff’s journey was one filled with adventure, dedication, and love.

Jeff’s life was marked by his distinguished service in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 2006. Rising to the rank of E5 Sergeant, he was stationed in South Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, Philippines, Iraq and Kuwait, serving his country with unwavering loyalty and courage. He was also a war veteran, having served bravely in Iraq during the Gulf War, embodying the spirit of a true American patriot.

A proud graduate of Augusta Technical College, Jeff completed his studies with honors in 2017, specializing in welding and electrical wiring. His strong work ethic, thirst for knowledge and skill development was evident in his varied career, where he was a jack-of-all-trades. While he excelled as a welder, it was his work as an electrician that was his true career calling.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeff was a man of many interests and talents. He loved to cook and grill and was especially enamored with Asian cuisine- a passion inspired by his time in the Philippines. His culinary creations brought joy and warmth to countless family gatherings. An outdoor enthusiast, Jeff found solace in fishing and working on outdoor projects, always finding a way to connect with nature. His artistic flair was evident in his extraordinary freestyle drawings, which captured the admiration of those fortunate enough to view them.

Jeff is survived by his parents, David and Elaine Anna; daughter, Jessica Pitchford; brother, Christopher Anna (Katherine); and nephews, Bryson and Jacob Anna.

He was preceded in death by his beloved niece, Megan Anna.

As we honor Jeff’s life, a private memorial ceremony will be held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery to celebrate his enduring impact on the lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to Jeff’s heart.

Jeff’s life was a tapestry woven with love, service, and hard work. His ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued was a testament to his generous spirit and kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
