Augusta, GA – Mr. Jimmy Ray Richardson, 82, entered into rest Sunday, April 14, 2024, he was the loving husband of Janice Richardson.  

 

In 1941, Jimmy was born in Evans, GA to the late Alex and Patti Richardson. He was a member of the local union IBEW 1579 for over 50 years. He was a loving husband, father, and granddaddy. 

 

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughter Paige Walden, beloved son-in-law Scott Walden; favorite granddaughter Megan Brewer, and her husband Gray Brewer. He is also survived by sisters: Patsy Ginn and Martha Manning; and many other loving family members. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Howard and Edna Faye Shead.  

 

A cryptside service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the mausoleum of Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 2:30 P.M., in the mausoleum of the cemetery.
