JoAnn McFadden Ferron

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, October 11, 2024, JoAnn McFadden Ferron, 81.

JoAnn was a native of Augusta, Georgia. She worked for the Sheriff’s Department as a School Patrol. She loved her three boys more than anything. JoAnn enjoyed singing gospel music, family get togethers and was a true believer in Jesus.

Family members include her sons: John McFadden, Jr. (Carol), Jeffery McFadden (Pam) and Joel McFadden; grandchildren: Adam McFadden (Nikki), Jason McFadden, Will McFadden (Lauren), Brandon McFadden (April), Cameron Smith and Joanna McFadden; eight great grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Shirley Welch, Grady Malin, Rachel Luke, Orie Malin (Louise), Tim Malin (Karen) and Richard Malin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Gerald Conrad Ferron; parents: Julius and Maude Malin; sister: Patsy Yeater and daughter-in-law: Margaret McFadden.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. David Dowd officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Denise Tuten Endowment #7032-P.

The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
