John Duane Gamble

John Duane Gamble, 71, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Saralyn Gamble. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, John lived a life filled with love, dedication, and creativity.

John’s passion for music shaped his early years as he played drums throughout his early career. Later, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish and operate his own company, TGC Security. Beyond his work, John found joy in simple, peaceful moments—spending time working in his yard and enjoying the outdoors. Camping was one of his greatest passions, and he shared many memorable trips with those he loved.

In addition to his wife, Saralyn, John is survived by his four children: John Duane Gamble, Jr. (Carla Johnson), Shannon Gamble Slaton (Billy), Sean Gamble (Ashley), and Jennifer Brackett (Michael); as well as his two cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Garner and Madison Slaton.

Family and friends are invited to drop in from 2:00–3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, with a celebration of life ceremony to follow at 1209 Gregory Landing Drive, North Augusta, SC 29860.

John will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of love, music, and family will live on through those whose lives he touched.
