John B. Rhodes, Sr.

 John B. Rhodes, Sr., age 79, of Roswell, Georgia, died Sunday, March 1, 2026. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Hull Rhodes, Jr. and Agnes Armstrong Rhodes, as well as one nephew, John Wade Owens. He is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Sally, their five children, Johnny (Jessica), Eddie (Kimberly), Sarah, Maureen, and Bobby (Mariel), and six grandchildren with another on the way. 

The family will receive friends and family in Roswell on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell. 

The family will also receive friends and family on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:50 p.m. with a rosary service at 12:30 p.m. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors in Augusta with the interment to follow at Summerville Cemetery.

 We could not have asked for a better husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered all the days of our lives.
