Josh Padgett

Entered rest on Thursday, April 25, 2024, Joshua Lawrence Padgett, 46, loving husband of Oana Padgett.

Josh was a native of Memphis, TN and earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Memphis. He loved baseball and even pitched in college. He served in the United States Army for 6 years and was deployed in Iraq. He worked as a linguist and then as an analyst with the Department of Defense.  Josh had a generous and caring heart and was a loving and devoted husband and father.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: Lucas and Matei; siblings: Jerry, Jacob and Jennifer; aunts: Patty Padgett and Celeste Padgett Jacobs; cousin: Molly Floyd; and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin J. Padgett.
