Augusta, GA – Kevin Thomas Mele, 68, entered into rest on Monday, October 13, 2025.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Kevin had relocated to Augusta recently to be near his family. After retiring from his career as a Fire Safety Director, Kevin enjoyed fishing, model trains, and operating his CB radio.

Family members include his sister: Catherine Cooper (Roger), nieces and nephews: Dustin Cooper (Kiara), Donovan Cooper, Meshach Joseph (Shaquasia), Jairus Hayes, Makiyah Cooper, Dallon Cooper, Patrick Cooper, Nathan Cooper, Gabriel Clark; many other loving family members. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother: Doris Hicks.

Services will be private.
