Margaret McMeekin Boyd

Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, June 29, 2024 Mrs. Margaret McMeekin Boyd, 75.

Margaret was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived in Augusta for 50years. Margaret was a registered nurse and retired from Gracewood State Hospital. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Her favorite pastime was watching her favorite shows on television. Mostly Margaret loved her family.

Family members include her children: AnnMarie Boyd and Christopher Lee Boyd; grandchildren: Charles Ruslan Boyd, Sierra O’Bryan and Christopher Boyd, Jr. and brother: James McMeekin. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Key Boyd.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the family residence. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
