Marian Villella Barrett

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Mrs. Marian Villella Barrett, loving wife of 56 years to Jack Barrett. She is survived by her son: William J. “Billy” Owens (Mary Ann). A graveside service will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11 o’clock at Westover Memorial Park. Family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Marian was a native of Emporium, Pennsylvania but lived in Augusta for the last 70 years. She retired after 20 years as office manager with Rhodes Murphy Tax Services, Wrightsboro Road Office. She and her husband Jack were avid hunters; at the age of 75 she killed a Moose in Alaska and in 1998, she killed a Gemsbuck in South Africa.
