Mary Self Bartlett

Mary Self Bartlett, 93, beloved wife of the late Lowell I. Bartlett, entered into rest on January 1, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Mark Maund officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment to follow the service at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Aaron Barnes, Joshua Bartlett, Kenneth Goodin, Jimmie Paschal, Jerry Paschal and Richard Inglett.

Mrs. Bartlett was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, doing crossword puzzles and watching the Atlanta Braves.

Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her children, Lowell W. Bartlett (Sheila W.), Michael Irvin Bartlett (Darlene M.), Karen Bartlett Hoffman (Steve), Barry Wendell Bartlett and Brian Keith Bartlett (Kimberly H.); and by her grandchildren, Austin James Bartlett, Jessica Michelle Bartlett, Aaron Wallace Barnes (Kaity), Brianna Nicole Bartlett and Emily Marie Goodin (Kenneth). In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bartlett was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce “Joy” Elaine Bartlett.
