Megan Elizabeth Anna

Augusta, GA—Megan Elizabeth Anna, 20, entered into rest on Monday, April 21, 2025. Megan lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, creativity and love. Born in Erie, PA, on November 6, 2004, Megan was a loving daughter to Dr. Christopher and Katherine Anna, and proud sister of her two brothers, Bryson and Jacob, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. They shared many hours of laughter and memorable adventures together. Megan was fiercely devoted to family and friends and had a gift for making others feel loved.

With her beautiful smile and a fashion all her own, Megan approached life with joy and authenticity. She had a love for music, classical literature, good coffee and great food. She was quick to laugh and would lovingly tease with a twinkle in her eye. Megan was honest but always kind. Sensitive and aware, her thoughtfulness often led her to giving gifts and spending cherished time with those she loved. Her tenderheartedness was also evident in her care for all creatures, great and small.

A talented pianist with a passion for music, Megan was a valued team member of Turner’s Keyboards of Augusta. She was able to use her organizational skills, attention to detail and her musical gifts to pour into her work at Turner’s. Her co-workers quickly became her dear friends. Multi-talented, Megan was also gifted in languages and cultivated a particular affinity for the Japanese culture and language. She taught herself Japanese and had an interest in possible translation work. Most recently, she was able to travel to Japan with her older brother, Bryson, and enjoy some of its culture and beauty.

Though her time with us was far too short, the indelible impact of her genuine spirit and unwavering love will live on in those who knew and cherished her.

In addition to her parents and brothers, Megan is survived by her grandparents, Niel and Carolyn Blackwell, and David and Elaine Anna; aunts and uncles, Matthew Blackwell, Ashley Blackwell, Michael Blackwell (Hanoka), Lindsey Forbes, and Jeffrey Anna; dear cousins, many treasured friends; and her beloved Zane.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Chapel at Warren Baptist Church with Rev David Beck officiating. Burial will be private.
