Michael Kelly McGinnis

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, September 19, 2025, Michael McGinnis, 75, husband of Judy McGinnis.

Michael never met a stranger. He loved his family, he enjoyed playing cards, eating out, traveling. Michael was in the U.S. Navy. He also was a volunteer firefighter in West Alexandria, OH for over 15 years. Michael was a member of the King Hiram Lodge # 88 in West Alexandria, OH. He was also a member in Scottish Rite in Dayton Ohio. Michael was very active in both for many years When moving to GA, Michael attended and held office in Grove town Masonic Lodge # 730. Michael was a dedicated employee of General Motors, where he retired after 28 years, as Safety Director.

In addition to his wife Judy McGinnis, family members include his children: Patrick McGinnis (Beverly) and Kelli Mouk (Chris); his grandson: Jacob Mouk; his sisters: Peggy Schulke and Gail Tipton; and his brother: Dale Kennard (Vicky); brother-in-law John R Clark; a very special Aunt Phyllis Jean Clark. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Norman V. McGinnis and Betty Adams; and by his sister, Carmen Riebesell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Ohio.
